SEBI’s Marketing and Tourism Management Department is a dynamic department with two programmes; a Marketing Programme and a Tourism Programme. The department offers both undergraduate diplomas and degrees in marketing and tourism studies. Students are prepared for the world with the basic theoretical and practical knowledge to develop successful careers in marketing using analytical models and simulations to make prudent marketing decisions.
The Tourism Studies Programme is designed for those who intend to serve or advise, or are employed, in higher level positions in the Tourism Sector. It is also useful for those entrepreneurs who intend to invest in the Tourism sector, as well as administrators whose decisions and work impact upon the sector. The marketing department focus is intended to help students to see the link between other areas of study and overall success in the private, public, and nongovernmental sectors; with a practical approach to address critical marketing issues.
